The project

100 postcards will be sent (more or less) periodically to people that Martina Flor likes, loves, knows or wants to get in touch with around the world. Every postcard will be entirely made, written and sent by her. You might also get one in your mailbox!.

The Postcards

Each postcard is lettered, handwritten and sent by Martina Flor. The language may vary according to the receiver of each postcard, located around the globe. Both, the card and the receiver will be documented in this blog. Furthermore, visitors will be able to send each postcard to other people with their own custom message.

What is lettering?

Lettering is the craft of drawing letters. It’s not a font that you can buy somewhere and type your text with. It’s more like a drawing with the shape of letters, that form words and text; it’s unique and custom.

Sometimes by hand, other times using digital tools, Martina combines letter shapes, colors and composition to tell a story and send a message. Know more about her work process.
